It’s that time of year where English towns and villages have their local fetes and businesses attend and sell there wares. We attend this local event every year to raise our profile and engage with local residents and it’s always a delightful event to attend. There singers and dancers, beer and charities and food stalls. Windows 7 and the 14th of January 2020…
With Windows 10 firmly on a majority of desktops and laptops these days, it won’t be long before Windows 7 is official retired. This date is coming on the 14th January 2020. That doesn’t mean that you cannot use Windows 7 from that date onwards and you can still instal and activate the products too, but active support from Microsoft will cease and your systems may be open to security threats moving forward.
I am a firm believer that windows 10 is a good operating system; yes, it’s had it’s fair share of update failures and issues but I, touchwood, have had a fairly good run with it and haven’t suffered as much as some of our customers have. That said, it still could happen to us so we regularly back up our important files and photo’s just incase it does happen.
We recommend that all our customers upgrade to windows 10 as soon as possible and we can offer an upgrade service and free service on your computer from just £99. Please contact us today and we will help you out.
